This Fall, Halifax will see its fourth 40 Days for Life Vigil,

from September 28 until November 6.
Christians of all denominations will pray, fast and hold a peaceful vigil on South Park Street, outside the VG Hospital, for an end to abortion.
Those wishing to know more about the Vigil are encouraged to attend an information session, on Wednesday, September 14, at 7 p.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Church Hall, Cornwall Street (near Oxford Street / Jubilee Road), in Halifax.
Just "come and see" what this Prayer Vigil is all about.

Devotions

Eucharistic Adoration is the practice of worshiping Jesus present in the Eucharist. The Eucharist is placed in a sacred vessel called a monstrance, and is displayed on the altar. At our parish, Eucharistic Adoration is accompanied by prayerful background music, although in many churches, silence is the norm.
Eucharistic Adoration is available every Monday evening. Accept the invitation of Jesus to "Spend an hour with me". Come, let us worship!
